Shipping Policy
Metropolitan Shipping
Orders placed online are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days.
We can deliver most items we stock to all metropolitan areas in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. We recommend that you give us an email on info@shapp.com.au to check if your item qualifies for metro delivery rate to your area if in doubt.
Deliveries are made to the ground floor entrance of your premises as per standard transport practices. Please make a note on checkout if you have any specific delivery requirements including delivery to another floor or specific booking in requirements to access your site. We can only accommodate the request if the building has a lift and the lift fits the product(s).
The items will usually be shipped directly from the closest warehouse to your location through our network of warehouses located in Melbourne.
In the unlikely circumstance where we require to transfer some stocks from interstate, the delivery may take longer than 3-5 business days. We aim to complete all deliveries within 7 business days and in the rare occasion that this is going to take longer, we will provide an update to our clients usually within 24 working hours from the time of order.
Regional Shipping
If your delivery address is outside our standard metropolitan delivery zone please mail us on info@shappa.com.au for a quote. If you have accidently selected our metro shipping rate for deliveries within a regional area, our friendly staff will give you a ring to work something out. We partner with major courier including CouriersPlease, TNT or Toll to make these regional deliveries and insure all products during regional transit for clients free of charge.
Assembly
All of our products are shipped flat-packed for ease of transport and to reduce the risk of damage in transit. Your ready-to-assemble furniture will be delivered to you with easy to follow assembly instructions. If you have any queries regarding assembly once you receive your product(s) please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance.
1. Cancellation Policy
Right of withdrawal
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity.
You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.
You can exercise your right of return by informing us of your decision by means of a clear declaration (e.g. by email:contact@shappa.com.au) within 30 days. (the period begins on the day the goods are received).
The prerequisite for exercising this voluntary right of return is, however, that you return the goods in their entirety, in good condition and without any damage. The return must be in the original packaging or in a similarly stable packaging.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of the withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will have given you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs that result from choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us have), to be repaid immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use Paypal payment to refund your order funding, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; In no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We can refuse the repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the date on which you informed us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
Order Cancellation
If you want to cancel your order, please email us to contact@shappa.com.au within 1 hour of placing the order.
1. Most of orders would be shipped within 24 hours. In the event your order has not shipped, you have 24 hours to notify us of the cancellation.
2. There are no cancellation fees for standard items canceled before shipment.
3. If the item has already shipped, it is subject to our standard return policy.
2. Return and Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your Shappa purchase, and we strive to provide expert guidance to help you choose the best possible products for your needs. We also understand that sometimes a product just doesn’t quite fit. That is why we make returns easy.
Please send an email tocontact@shappa.com.au with your return request along with the order number and product picture included. Also, please let us know the reason for your return.
3. General information for all returns
1. Please contact us via email for the return request firstly and then we will send you the address for returns.
We don't handle it if the returns are sending back without any Notification. You could contact your local logistics company to return the packages to us and keep us informed for the tracking infomation.
Regarding to all returns for non-quality issues, you are responsilble for the return fees.
2. Returns need to be made within 30 days of receipt.
3. Returned items need to be good conditions with original packaging, Items returned not in the original packaging or get damaged will not be eligible for a refund.
The refund will be processed within 7 business days after our warehouse receive all packages.
4. Customers are asked to avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. If possible, the goods should be returned to Shappa in their original packaging with all accessories. If the original packaging is no longer in the buyer's possession, another suitable packaging should be used in order to ensure adequate protection against transport damage and to avoid any claims for damages due to damage caused by inadequate packaging.
5. Refund Policy
We want to give you the best sit-stand desk experience possible and most importantly start you on the right footing. If you’re not completely satisfied with your Shappa for any reason, let us know and you can return the goods to us.
6. Backordered Items
In the event an item you’ve ordered is out of stock, we will ship the items available and ship the out of stock item(s) as soon as they become available via an expedited method at no cost to you.We will check the available time of goods stock for you and send you a mail to inform you and get your instruction of cancellation or waiting.
